Dr. Brett Dusenberry
Dr. Dusenberry’s undergraduate education took place at the University of Arizona, where he graduated with honors in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He also attended the University of Arizona for medical school. He went on to complete his residency in pediatrics in Oklahoma City at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. Following his residency, he finished a fellowship in pediatric sports medicine in Chicago with Lurie Children’s Hospital and Northwestern University.
During his fellowship, Dr. Dusenberry was trained in a variety of pediatric nonoperative injuries including overuse injuries, acute sprains and strains as well as fractures. Dr. Dusenberry prides himself on taking the time to get to know his patients and treating every patient as an individual. He uses shared decision making to develop a plan that is best for his patients and their families. He is caring and kind but be careful because he might talk your ear off about UofA sports if you let him. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and helping coach several of his son’s sports teams.
